New Life/Travels

The past week has been an amazing time in my life. As I last posted about timing, my wife and I were expecting our second child. I was worried about timing. Well God taught me a thing or two about his timing. I got through the 30 Hour Famine and then Sunday the 29th after church I went home and we went to the Hospital. I thought about missing Veritas that night. I called our team, and they said "we got it covered, just have the baby" (I love our team...they have been and continue to be Christ to me) So at 8:50 PM on April 29 Trinity Jade Braught came into the world weighing 6 pounds 6 ounces. God was in the midst the whole time. What an experience.

This Thursday I leave for a two week study tour of England. I'll be going with 5 others and we will meet with Pastors, leaders, and visit many different churches. I am so excited about going to Grace (www.freshworship.org) and meeting with Jonny Baker, Steve Collins, and going to many other worship communities (Headspace, Search, etc..) I will be missing Kim, Kaiden and Trinity like crazy. But God has worked it out that I was here for a whole week and a half before leaving. Last night at House Church, people gathered around me and prayed for me and sent me out as a missionary from Veritas. I can't tell you what that did to me...it brought tears to my eyes. I pray that God will show me many things on this trip (personally, professionally, and spiritually) but I also pray that I can bring some things back and seek to apply them to life within Veritas. That Veritas will grow (spiritually, numerically, relationally, etc..) through this experience in my life.

God continues to be so good to me and his timing is amazing.
